New funding gratefully received from the Christina Mary Hendry Trust
The Edinburgh Art Therapy Centre would like to thank the Christina Mary Hendry Trust for their generous grant. Their continuing support will enable us to maintain our exisiting work in dementia care and to develop new projects in the coming months.

Job description
Scottish
Adoption in partnership with Edinburgh Art Therapy Centre are proposing to run
a pilot programme to establish whether art therapy can be used as a successful
approach in terms of building quick and secure attachments in the early days of
adoption placements.
We are
recruiting 2 Art Therapists to come on board to help develop and deliver this
pilot programme to our adoptive families to establish whether or not art
therapy is a suitable intervention. Experience working with young people and
families, and extensive knowledge of attachment theory is necessary.
This
position requires travel and some flexibility with hours.
The appointment will be subject
to becoming a member of the PVG scheme for working with children. Art Therapists
must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
